Windows 10和Windows 9没有什么不同，据微软前副总裁特雷梅尔森说，Windows 9是微软试图提供一个全新的操作系统。考虑到Windows 8受到的批评和低采用率，以及微软跳过Windows 9而发布Windows 10以表明其纠正错误的决心，这并不奇怪。
